In this part, we will show some common print issues, and potential solutions.

6. X-Axis not function correctly

 

1. Please remove the X-axis motor, connect the X-axis motor to the working motor port.Then operate on the touch screen to move the axis that works normally, if it does not work, then the motor is faulty, replace the motor.

 

2. If exclude the motor problems,Open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty) and connect the X-axis motor to the X-motor port on the motherboard. Touch screen operation to move the X-axis, if it works, you need to check the connection cable between the motherboard to the X-axis motor. If it does not work, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

7. Y-Axis not function correctly

 

1. Please remove the Y-axis motor, connect the Y-axis motor to the working motor port.  Touch screen operation to move the axis that works normally, if it does not work, then the motor is faulty, replace the motor.

 

2. If exclude the motor problems,Open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty) and connect the Y-axis motor to the Y-motor port on the motherboard. Touch screen operation to move the Y-axis, if it works, you need to check the connection cable between the motherboard to the Y-axis motor.If it does not work, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

8. Z-Axis not function correctly

 

1. Please remove the Z-axis motor, connect the Z-axis motor to the working motor port.  Touch screen operation to move the axis that works normally, if it does not work, then the motor is faulty, replace the motor.

 

2. If exclude the motor problems,Open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty) and connect the Z-axis motor to the Z-motor port on the motherboard. Touch screen operation to move the Z-axis, if it works, you need to check the connection cable between the motherboard to the Z-axis motor.If it does not work, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

9. Print head always crushed to the limit switch

 

1.Press the limit switch manually, if it lights red. Please press the X-axis limit switch manually while the X-axis is working, observe whether the X-axis stops operating, if the X-axis is still working normally, it means that the limit switch is faulty and the X-axis limit switch needs to be replaced.

 

2. Press the limit switch manually, if it does not light up red. Open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty), use a multimeter, measure the motherboard X-limit terminal output voltage is 5V, if not 5V, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

 

→3. If exclude the motherboard problem, the limit switch will be connected to the motherboard X-limit port, press the limit whether it will light up the red light, if it lights up the red light, you need to check the motherboard to the X-axis motor between the connecting wire. If the red light is not on, then the X-axis limit switch is faulty, replace the X-axis limit switch.

10. Hotbed always crushed to the limit switch

 

1. Press the limit switch manually, if it lights red. Please press the Y-axis limit switch manually while the Y-axis is working, observe whether the Y-axis stops operating, if the Y-axis is still working normally, it means that the limit switch is faulty and the Y-axis limit switch needs to be replaced.

 

2. Press the limit switch manually, if it does not light up red. Open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty), use a multimeter, measure the motherboard Y-limit terminal output voltage is 5V, if not 5V, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.If it is 5V, the Y-axis limit switch is faulty, replace the Y-axis limit switch.

 

11. Nozzle hits/scratches on the build plate

 

1. First of all, re-levelling, exclude levelling problems:  1) Click Tools --- Click Zsetoff --- Click Z = 0 --- with the A4 paper to set the Z offset --- Click Save --- Return. 2) Click manual leveling --- using A4 paper in the four corners, respectively, in order to adjust the leveling nut --- Return. 3) Click Auto Leveling --- Automatic data collection --- Save to exit!

 

2. If exclude the levelling problem, open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty), the use of a multimeter, measuring the motherboard 3D-Touch terminal output voltage is 5V, if not 5V, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

 

3. If exclude the motherboard problem, use a multimeter, respectively, respectively, to measure the 26pin line to the Z-axis adapter board, vertical line to the X-axis adapter board and horizontal line to the extruder adapter board conduction is normal, if the conduction is not normal, then the connection line failure, replace the connection line.

 

4. If the above steps do not detect the problem, then the Eddy current sensors failure, replace the Eddy current sensors.

 

12. X-axis moving in reverse direction causes the extruder to collide with the right-side profile

 

1. Exclude the machine programme is wrong, please re-upgrade the firmware first.

 

2. Please remove the X-axis motor, connect the X-axis motor to the working motor port.  Touch screen operation to move the axis that works normally, if it does not work, then the motor is faulty, replace the motor.

 

→3. If exclude the motor problems,Open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty) and connect the X-axis motor to the X-motor port on the motherboard. Touch screen operation to move the X-axis, if it works, you need to check the connection cable between the motherboard to the X-axis motor. If it does not work, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

 

 

13. Z-axis moving in reverse direction causes the extruder to collide with the top profile

 

1.Shut down and manually reset the Z-axis, boot up and retest whether to repair (Z-axis position itself is too high, homing itself trajectory needs to be up first, and then down may lead to the impact of the direct error).

 

2. Exclude the machine programme is wrong, please re-upgrade the firmware first.

 

3. Please remove the Z-axis motor, connect the Z-axis motor to the working motor port.  Touch screen operation to move the axis that works normally, if it does not work, then the motor is faulty, replace the motor.

 

→4. If exclude the motor problems,Open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty) and connect the Z-axis motor to the Z-motor port on the motherboard. Touch screen operation to move the Z-axis, if it works, you need to check the connection cable between the motherboard to the Z-axis motor.If it does not work, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

 

13. Extrusion Problem (unable to extrude filament)

 

→1.Please make sure the nozzle temperature setting and heating are normal(PLA:200-220):
1)If the temperature setting is low, please adjust to the appropriate temperature.
2)If the hot end is not heated, refer to the hot end heating failure problem eliminated.

 

2. If you confirm the temperature is normal, please adjust the top wire pressure, not too loose or too tight.

 

3. If adjusting the top wire does not solve the problem, please check whether the extruder gear is broken and stuck. If it is broken, it needs to be replaced.

 

→4. If the gear is not jammed, try to manually push the consumables through the nozzle to check if it is plugged, if it is plugged, then use the poke needle to clean up first, if the poke needle can not be cleaned up, please dismantle the extrusion assembly situation throat, remove the clogged material.

 

→5. If the above steps did not detect the problem, open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty), use a multimeter, measure the motherboard E0 motor interface terminal voltage is 24V, if not 24V, then the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

 

→6. If exclude the motherboard problem, use a multimeter, respectively, respectively, to measure the 26pin line to the Z-axis adapter board, vertical line to the X-axis adapter board and horizontal line to the extruder adapter board conduction is normal, if the conduction is not normal, then the connection line failure, replace the connection line.

 

→7. If the above steps did not detect the problem, the motor failure, replace the motor.

 

14. Hotend Heating Failure (Heating erros/Negative number on hotend temp)

 

1. Firstly, confirm whether the hot end is hot or cool in case of heating failure.

 

2. If the heating fails the hot end is hot, make sure the thermistor is not connected or broken:
1)If it is not connected please connect it and try again.
2)If it is broken, you need to replace the thermistor.
3)If there is no problem with the thermistor wiring or appearance, shake the thermistor wire by hand to determine if the temperature floats. If the temperature floats substantially, the thermistor is defective and the thermistor should be replaced.

 

3. If the above steps did not detect the problem, the thermistor removed, connected to the motherboard TB port. If it shows room temperature, the thermaL works normally. If the display -15 or abnormal, the thermistor problem.

 

→4. If the heating fails the hot end is cool.Restart the machine again to try to heat, if heating is normal, the machine may be dead due to occasional problems.

 

→5. Please turn off the power and pull out the power cord, lay the machine on its side and open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty), reconnect the power supply and energise the machine. Keep the printer lying on its side and heat the nozzles through the touch screen.Please observe the motherboard HE0 terminal next to the LED is lit up, not lit up the motherboard has a problem, replace the motherboard.

 

→6. If exclude the motherboard problem, then remove the extruder right plastic cover, check whether the heating tube terminals are connected. If the two pins of the heater are not connected, then the heating tube has a problem, replace the heating tube.

 

→7. If the two pins of the heater are connected, check the voltage (DC mode) during heating. If the voltage is significantly lower than 24V, it may be a power problem, replace the power supply.

 

14. Hotend Heating Failure (Heating erros/Negative number on hotend temp)

 

1. Firstly, confirm whether the hot end is hot or cool in case of heating failure.

 

2. If the heating fails the hot end is hot, make sure the thermistor is not connected or broken:
1)If it is not connected please connect it and try again.
2)If it is broken, you need to replace the thermistor.
3)If there is no problem with the thermistor wiring or appearance, shake the thermistor wire by hand to determine if the temperature floats. If the temperature floats substantially, the thermistor is defective and the thermistor should be replaced.

 

3. If the above steps did not detect the problem, the thermistor removed, connected to the motherboard TB port. If it shows room temperature, the thermaL works normally. If the display -15 or abnormal, the thermistor problem.

 

→4. If the heating fails the hot end is cool.Restart the machine again to try to heat, if heating is normal, the machine may be dead due to occasional problems.

 

→5. Please turn off the power and pull out the power cord, lay the machine on its side and open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty), reconnect the power supply and energise the machine. Keep the printer lying on its side and heat the nozzles through the touch screen.Please observe the motherboard HE0 terminal next to the LED is lit up, not lit up the motherboard has a problem, replace the motherboard.

 

→6. If exclude the motherboard problem, then remove the extruder right plastic cover, check whether the heating tube terminals are connected. If the two pins of the heater are not connected, then the heating tube has a problem, replace the heating tube.

 

→7. If the two pins of the heater are connected, check the voltage (DC mode) during heating. If the voltage is significantly lower than 24V, it may be a power problem, replace the power supply.

 

15. Abnormal Hotend Temp (Negative number on hotend temp)

 

1. Please make sure the thermistor is connected or broken first:
1)If it is not connected please connect it and try again.
2)If it is broken, you need to replace the thermistor.
3)If there is no problem with the thermistor wiring or appearance, shake the thermistor wire by hand to determine if the temperature floats. If the temperature floats substantially, the thermistor is defective and the thermistor should be replaced.

 

2. If the above steps did not detect the problem, open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty), the thermal and hotbed line exchange. If the screen displays the hotbed temperature is normal, the nozzle temperature is not normal, the TB terminal failure, replace the motherboard.

 

3. If the hotbed temperature is not normal, the nozzle temperature is normal, the thermistor to the motherboard between the line failure, need to measure the conduction is normal, if the conduction is not normal, the connection line failure, replace the connection line.

 

 

16. Hotbed Heating Failure 

 

1. Restart the machine again to try to heat, if heating is normal, the machine may be dead due to occasional problems.

 

2. Please turn off the power and pull out the power cord, lay the machine on its side and open the bottom cover (under our guidance to remove the bottom cover for testing and repair will not affect the warranty), reconnect the power supply and energise the machine. Keep the printer lying on its side and heat the hotbed through the touch screen.

 

3. Using a multimeter, measuring the motherboard 26pin line terminal output voltage is 24V, if not 24V, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

 

→4. Please observe whether the Mos module LED is on, if it is not on, there is a problem with Mos module, replace Mos module.

 

→5. If the motherboard and Mos module are not a problem, use a multimeter to check whether the two power lines of the hotbed are connected, and at the same time check the resistance. If the two wires are not connected or no voltage, there is a problem with the hotbed, replace the hotbed.

 

17. Abnormal Hotbed Temp (Heating erros/Negative number on hotbed temp)

 

1. Hotbed temperature readings usually come from the thermistor in the hotbed, please manually move the hotbed back and forth and watch for temperature changes, if there is a change in temperature, try to plug the hotbed cable into the chassis and reprint.

 

2. If the failure is still repeated, replace the hotbed..

 

18. 0/0 Temperature Error

 

1. Exclude the machine programme is wrong, please re-upgrade the firmware first.

 

2. If the above steps did not detect the problem, the motherboard failure, replace the motherboard.

 

19. Negative Number on Temperature Detection (-15/0, -14/0)

 

1. Please make sure whether the horizontal and vertical flat line and adapter board are loose or the interface is broken or oxidized:
1)If they are not connected please connect them and try again.
2)If there is broken then you need to replace the cable or adapter plate.

 

2. Please make sure the thermistor is connected or broken first:
1)If it is not connected please connect it and try again.
2)If it is broken, you need to replace the thermistor.
3)If there is no problem with the thermistor wiring or appearance, shake the thermistor wire by hand to determine if the temperature floats. If the temperature floats substantially, the thermistor is defective and the thermistor should be replaced.

 

 

20. Floating Hotend Temperature

 

1. The hot end temperature is sensed by the sensor, so it is not a complete constant value, floating is a normal phenomenon. If the value is too large, please check whether the thermistor and the heating block connection is loose, it is recommended to use heat-conducting silicone grease to assist in fixing.

 

21. Filament Leaking from the extruder

 

1. Usually the hot end assembly is not installed properly, need to replace the hot end.

 

22. Abnormal Chinese language version on the touchscreen & Frozen Screen

 

1. Open the back cover of the screen, download the TFT file for screen upgrade to the SD card and insert it into the SD card slot on the screen.

 

2. Unplug the phone line from the body, then plug it back in, the system automatically opens the upgrade.

 

3. If the upgrade can not be repaired, replace the screen.

 

 

 

23. Frozen Screen and showing temperature 50/100

 

1. Open the back cover of the screen, download the TFT file for screen upgrade to the SD card and insert it into the SD card slot on the screen.

 

2. Unplug the phone line from the body, then plug it back in, the system automatically opens the upgrade.

 

3. If the upgrade cannot be repaired, replace the telephone line.

 

21. Bed Levelling

 

1. Click Tools --- Click Zsetoff --- Click Z = 0 --- with the A4 paper to set the Z offset --- Click Save --- Return

 

→2. Click manual leveling --- using A4 paper in the four corners, respectively, in order to adjust the leveling nut --- Return.
